Understand why you need to connect
Pagely builds your page, but it never holds your money. When someone buys, the amount goes straight to your payments account, yours, not ours. That's why the first step is connecting that account: it's the one that gets paid.
If you've never sold online before, think of it this way: the page is the storefront, and the payments account is the cash register. Without the register connected, the storefront looks great but nobody can actually pay you.

Open the payments activation
Go to Settings, Integrations, or click the "activate payments" step that shows up while you build your page. Both paths lead to the same place.
This is where you switch on card and Pix payments. Do it once and it works for all your sales.

Connect card through Stripe
Card payments run through Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the world. When you connect, Pagely creates a Stripe Express account for you and opens their official signup, it's quick and secure.
They'll ask for a few details to confirm it's really you and where to send the money: your name, contact info, ID document, and the bank account that will receive funds. Keep those handy so you don't get stuck halfway.
After you submit, the account starts as "pending" while Stripe checks everything. Once approved, the status flips to "ready" and that's when you can take card payments. It can take from a few minutes to a few hours. No need to keep refreshing: just come back later to check.

Turn on Pix
Pix is the most popular way to get paid in Brazil, it arrives instantly and your buyers already know it. Turn on Pix on the same payments screen.
With card and Pix both on, the buyer picks how they prefer to pay at checkout, and you get paid either way.

Know what happens if you don't activate
If you publish without activating payments, the page stays live as usual and people can see your product. But at checkout, a notice appears saying the seller isn't accepting payments yet, and nobody can complete the purchase.
In other words: you'll get visits, but no sales. So it's worth activating before you promote, to avoid losing an excited customer right at the moment of paying.

Check the 3.9% fee
Pagely charges 3.9% per sale, and only on the product amount. Shipping never enters that math: it's 100% yours, precisely because you're the one paying to ship.
A quick example: a product of 100 with 20 for shipping. The 3.9% fee applies only to the 100, so 3.90. The 20 for shipping reaches you in full. The card or Pix processing fee is charged separately by the payment method itself, outside of Pagely.
FAQ
When does the money reach my account?
The sale amount goes straight to your payments account, it doesn't pass through Pagely. The time to reach your bank follows the rules of the method that received it, Stripe for card and Pix instantly. You track it from your payments account dashboard.
Why is my Stripe account "pending"?
That's normal right after signup. Stripe is reviewing your details. When it finishes, the status changes to "ready" on its own and you start taking card payments. If it takes too long, check whether any detail is still missing in their signup.
Do I have to activate both card and Pix?
It's not required, but it's recommended. The more payment options you offer, the fewer people drop off at checkout. You can turn on just one now and add the other later, on the same payments screen.
Does the 3.9% fee apply to shipping?
No, never. The 3.9% falls only on the product amount. Shipping reaches you in full, because you're the one paying to ship. The card or Pix fee is charged separately by the payment method itself.
Is it safe to enter my bank details there?
Yes. The card signup happens on Stripe's official site, a processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. Pagely never stores your bank details, the payment method handles that.
